My reader is not responding to EasyEats orders. How do I get it back?
Your reader is designed to default into 'Listening mode' on boot. If a user presses the red 'x' key, it will exit listening mode.
To re-enter listening mode, simply reboot or do the following:
- Press the star in the lower left corner.
- Press the down arrow in the lower right corner.
- Choose "10. Start VC".
- When prompted "Do You Want To Connect VC Server?", Choose 'Yes'
- This will start Valor Connect mode, which allows the terminal to receive commands from a connected Point of Sale terminal.
- This will start Valor Connect mode, which allows the terminal to receive commands from a connected Point of Sale terminal.
